WILLEMSTAD – Due to safety concerns that have been expressed by a number of different parties, Santa Barbara Resort has decided to cancel its land-based Fuik Dag event. Santa Barbara apologizes for the inconvenience and disappointment that this decision may cause.
In anticipation of Fuik Dag, Sunday January 7, Santa Barbara cleaned up a portion of the beach at Fuik while carefully protecting the delicate mangroves during this process. During this clean-up, Santa Barbara removed a considerable amount of trash and would like to remind all those who attend Fuik Dag to be mindful of disposing of their trash in a proper way.
