Flavors of Curaçao taking over the island this weekend!


CHATA & Culinary Partners in preparation for September 27th

Willemstad, 25 September 2015 – CHATA and its partners are gearing up for the island’s largest culinary festival. The Flavors of Curaçao team is working hard, in order to ensure an awe-inspiring and memorable culinary experience by 20 of Curaçao’s finest restaurants and chefs on September 27th, World Tourism Day.

The past week, CHATA campaigned with Flavors of Curaçao through several Radio and TV ticket raffles and the Flavors of Curaçao Treasure Hunt that took place on September 22nd, allowing the lucky finder of the Treasure Chest Key, Laura Gouw, to win an American Airlines Sponsored Round Flight to Miami, 2 Flavors of Curaçao Tickets, NAFL. 100,00 Worth of tokens, and 2 tickets for Flavors of Curaçao 2016. Furthermore, CHATA organized a CHATA After 5 – Flavors of Curaçao Happy Hour that took place at CHATA Member and Flavors of Curaçao participant Scuba Lodge Boutique Hotel on September 24th.

Up until Saturday, September 26th CHATA’s Flavors of Curaçao Team will gradually be morphing the Kleine Wharf into an up-scale venue to accommodate the Flavors of Curaçao restaurants and visitors on Sunday. Flavors of Curaçao will be the island’s largest culinary event featuring 20 participating restaurants which will be serving a plethora of delicacies for prices ranging from NAFL.2,50 – 20,00 at Kleine Wharf in Willemstad. Flavors of Curaçao serves the purpose of a fundraising event from which the proceeds will be invested in professional trainings of employees & destination branding in the local Tourism & Hospitality industry.

Flavors of Curaçao will be featuring awesome LIVE entertainment, and engaging activities for children such as a Kid’s Corner, and cooking workshops for children between 5 and 12 years of age! The adults can immerse in the local culinary world in the VIP section of Flavors of Curaçao that can be accessed by everyone. The Flavors of Curaçao Bars will serve a variety of thirst – quenching and enjoyable alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages.
