WILLEMSTAD – Currently workers are finalizing the construction of the huge complex Sambil Curaçao in Commercial Park Veeris before focusing on the finishing touches. The roof is now completely finished and closed. This autumn the tenants will take care of the interior of their space, as desired, in order to welcome their first customers as soon as possible. The festive inauguration of this new shopping and entertainment center is listed in the calendar for March 2015. As several data have been mentioned in the past for some sort of opening, the management of Sambil Curaçao wishes to clarify that the construction phase is to be completed within short. It shows that this huge project of approximately 35,000 square meters will indeed be materialized within two years after clearing the area. It’s no longer a daydream, because the beautiful architectural building, in the shape of a fish, is visible to everyone. Soon it will accommodate 180 establishments – including 156 shops, 8 movie theaters of Cinemark including an XD room with the latest technology, 4 restaurants with terraces, and a food court with a variety of local and international gastronomy. Golf cart tour
Now that the construction phase is coming to an end, in July the keys will be handed over to the tenants that already signed. In the second half of 2014 they can start preparing their space according to their own concept in order to be ready well in time for the grand opening. In the meantime the public spaces, like the restrooms and the open spaces where performances and entertainment will be provided for free once the complex is operational will be tiled and finished. Of the available units more than 80% are already reserved, which has developed faster than anticipated. In the pre-opening phase Sambil provides multiple levels of support to tenants, including completion of interior and exterior design, electrical/data networks, and attractive financing options and payment schedules.
