Willemstad, July 20,2014- Curaçao now has a comprehensive website with data on tourism performance on the island. CHATA’s data website which was introduced early 2013 as a beta version, has been revamped into a complete DATA center offering Airline performance, Tourism Arrivals and Hotel Performance. Through this website CHATA accentuates one of its main objectives which is remaining the leader in provision of accurate and reliable data regarding tourism performance on the island. This website is designed for CHATA members but is also open for the public. CHATA’s DATA center has been designed to accommodate the growing need of our partners of having access to accurate DATA for general use. All CHATA partners can now download and view the different charts available and ultimately view and understand the performance of our industry. According to CHATA President & CEO Lizanne Dindial, this is just the beginning. “I truly believe that this industry relies on DATA to be able to make investment decisions and to understand the fluctuations in the industry. I promise you that we will continue to add additional DATA on this website which at the end will become a powerful tool to be used for all research, studies and reports of the island of Curacao”. www.chata-data.com is designed with the same look & feel of www.chata.org, allowing users to easily navigate in between the websites, which are inter-connected. Note that since 2012, CHATA has entered a Partnership agreement with Smith Travel & Research (STR), an independent DATA pioneer to be able to collect the above-mentioned data on a monthly basis from our members. CHATA would also like to extend special thanks the Curacao Tourism Board and Curaçao Airport Partners for sharing their DATA on a monthly basis allowing CHATA to centralize all information on www.chata-data.com
